Belco, an Italian success story in broadcasting, the All India Radio project

Italy has played a leadership role in the Broadcasting sector since the 1960s, thanks to the creation of the RAI radio-television network. In this context, a fundamental partner has been Telesystem, which has implemented thousands of installations in over 30 years.
In 1996, Belco acquired Telesystem, a strategic step that brought about the integration of products, talent and key competencies that have contributed significantly to the company’s success. This merger allowed Belco to expand its presence internationally, achieving important successes in different parts of the world.
Among our recent projects, the supply to All India Radio, the Indian Public Radio Network, with the supply of around a hundred high-power antenna systems in circular polarization deserves a prominent place.
Thanks to the on-site measurement field, Belco was able to verify performance and make changes in “real time” where necessary, ensuring full compliance with times and performances. All India Radio staff was at Belco for several weeks, which gave rise to a collaboration that went beyond the customer-supplier relationship, becoming a true partnership.
